China economic bubble

Postby daytona78 » Tue Nov 29, 2011 7:06 pm

how do you guys think increased wages in china will affect their economy and the world economy?
It will obviously mean that the world won't have access to incredibly cheap goods. But, what would increased wages and an expected higher standard of living mean for their own economy?
DO you think that businesses will move to other countries with cheap wages? the chinese economy might go through their own recession as they shift away from a country that relies mainly on exports

they will definitely go through a shift just as many other developed nations have. I wouldn't underestimate the Chinese.
If their products became too expensive for the rest of the world, they would have to shift focus to selling products to people in their own countries.
